I like a somewhat tart preservative and the Cherry jam had that flavor just right.

I am a sucker for all things cherry, but most cherry preserves and jams go too far into sweet. I bought this one at Lancaster Central Market because I was intrigued by the idea of mixing sweet and tart cherries in one jam, and I'm glad I did. The cherry flavor is very deep and pleasant, and it's not cloyingly sweet. Toast, a spread of jam, and a spoonful of cottage cheese on top: Great breakfast.
