New Items Coming Soon!

We have been soaking it all in over the last 2 years.

What our awesome customers have been asking for, each time they asked and we didn't have it, we just wrote it down, or a mental note, or whatever. Well, the resounding and consistent items included a hot salsa, no sugar peach, black raspberry, grape jelly....and more. SO - we have in the final proofs of the labels, the recipes are ready, and batches are soon to be made - get ready for a late year release of some awesome new products! There are 11 in all, and we'll be launching them first at Central Market, then on the website - be sure to stop down and ask to try some of the new items!

We have been getting GREAT feedback on all of the new items... those that have tasted them LOVE them and are coming back already to buy more!

The salsa has a little kick to it and a wonderful sweet flavor... the apricot jam is simply sweet, fresh and delicious... the jalapeno jam is too fun - sweet and spicy at the same time... and the orange marmalade is just perfect, sweet and yummy!

Apple Cider Chicken Dinner

Last night for dinner I used a product from Patti Labelle's Lady Marmalade line... Apple Cider Marinade... and it was delicious!!!

Here is how simple it was:

1 pound boneless/skinless chicken breast
1 jar of marinade
AND THAT IS IT!!!!

24 hours before I was planning on making the chicken, I threw the chicken in a zip lock back with the marinade and refrigeratred it. Then when it was time to make it, I just threw the chicken in the oven at 350 degress until it was cooked throughout (covered). You could also throw the chicken on the grill as well.

This marinade is very good and has a fun/interesting flavor... it has a vinegar base which you can definitely taste, a little kick and a wonderful taste! The chicken was delicious and you could taste the marinade throughout the chicken which I loved.
